My Little Boy is Growing Up

Ty is 5 months old and is growing up fast.  I was so amazed at how much different he looks now than he did just a few short months ago.  He’s really starting to fill out.  I suppose part of that is due to the fact that he’s eating real food now.  Well maybe not real food but real baby food.

My lovely wife has decided to make her own baby food.  She’s been cooking apples and then turning them into apple sauce.  She does the same thing with pears.  Some of the baby food is from canned veggies but it still turns out pretty good.  I guess as good a peas and green beans can turn out.  Ty’s favorite so far has been pumpkin.  I’ve even sampled a few of her specialties.  My favorite has been the apples.

I keep reminding myself that this season in life won’t last long and I try to make the most of it.  So far it’s been great and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
