  • Thank you, Matt, for the mention and especially for the encouraging and challenging content day after day.

One thing that made September special for me was watching my daughter’s cross country meets. She’s doing great, and I love to watch.

    • I think we have a little cross country runner ourselves Jon. Our daughter can fly :-)

    • You’re right Jon, one of the things that makes Matt’s content unique is that it always challenges me to grow, develop–to be better. And I appreciate that! As well as the awesome comments by each of you that give me perspective that I wouldn’t have otherwise!

      • Right back at you Mark. I love the community here, and I learn so much from Matt and commenters like you.

        • I think you mean “in spite of” me…am I right Matt? Hahaha. Seriously though, thank you!

  • My blog numbers were down in the summer, but with new material in September they are rising again. I’ve had three guest posts that were all great, from Floyd Samons, YOU-Matt McWilliams, and Dan Black. Thank you all for helping out!

    • Guest posts always seem to provide a boost. I guest posted a few places this month, and I had a couple of guest posts on my blog. The number 1 post for the month on my blog was actually a guest post written by David Bastolik.

    • Summer is usually down and my numbers certainly slowed big time. But they kept growing, if just barely.

  • Congrats Matt! this definitely fits into that phrase from the ol’ Kevin Costner movie: “If you build it, they will come”. You’re building a killer platform and providing amazing content! So people are coming to check it out! I have a feeling it’s only gonna be bigger and better this month too…seems to me you’ve got a couple podcast interviews coming up 😉

Highlight of my September? I started working with a great coach to become more intentional and focused about my life–personally and professionally! Excited to see what comes from that :)

    • I’ll look forward to listening to those podcast interviews. Keep me posted.

      • For sure! I’m sure Matt’ll make mention of it too. But I think his HTYC interview will be posted next week…I’ll let you know!

    • Thanks Mark. That means a lot!

  • Steve Pate

well, you can’t go wrong starting your day with a little celebration! Also, Thanks Matt for adding the listening option to your blog, because now I know how to pronounce Mark Sieverkropp last name!!!

September was a great month for clarity, and seeing some great opportunities I have in front of me that God has placed out before me. I climbed a 7200 foot mountain, started learning how to run ores on white water, and was bless to watch my kids just love life! My wife’s small business growing and we’re super excited about that!

This tribe rocks Matt! Thanks for being you!

    • You know Steve, you could come over for lunch and I would’ve told you how to say it!

Also, now that you can say it, I’ll tell you that it fits the old Mickey Mouse theme song :)

(And now all of you will be signing my name all. day. long. Hahaha)

      • Steve Pate

Oh I haven’t forgot. We have a cabin on our property name Ephrata and now every time I look at it, I think about making time to have lunch! How does your November look?

        • Nothing major going on. Probably elk hunting like the first couple days of nov, but pretty much here thereafter

  • I’m confused – is this Thursday??

Thank you, Matt, for the wonderful information and encouragement that you consistently share. And thank you for providing a place to interact with the excellent people who follow your blog.

September highlight for me was a weekend with a couple of women friends at the cabin (after convincing my husband to stay home for a weekend!) We had a terrific hike, and my foot might be getting well after 3 years of a misdiagnosis of plantar fasciitis. Instead I think it is plantar fasciosis, so when it is well, maybe, just maybe, I can do another 1/2 marathon. (hope, hope, hope. . .)

Work highlight: seeing the end of the book project in sight, but the end of the drawing means the beginning of the computer work.

  • David Mike

I may be #10 but I am on the list! Thanks Matt for the shout out and for your awesome content.

  • Thank you my brother for all the great content. Also thanks for the shout out. Greatness comes one step and one day at a time. Awesome to see you getting traction. Keep up the great work.
