Thank You Revolution Archive |
Happy Thursday!
Have you written your Christmas cards yet? If not, may I suggest that you start your notes with two words: Thank you. I’m almost finished writing my Christmas cards for the year and I started each one of them the same…with those two magic words. Why? Because everyone to whom I am writing a card has helped me in some way this year. So don’t just wish them a happy holiday or a great time with family. Use the opportunity to thank them. Be specific if possible. Look back on the year and thank each person for helping you to make it a great year. One thing is for sure…your card will stand out and they’ll read it again and again. Remember, you’re a Revolutionary. You’re not average. So don’t send a bland message. Make your card one to remember. With Gratitude, Matt McWilliams

I had not considered writing Christmas Cards until I read this. I haven’t sent Christmas Cards in years really, but then, as I’m reading, it occurs to me that I have a stack of business cards from people who have attended my workshops over the last year and they deserve a Thank You Holiday Greeting from me, so I will be sure to pick some up tonight when I run out.
Thanks Matt! What a great way to remind people that they matter to me!
I’m sending more than 150 this year 🙂
And the thing is I mean every one of them.
That’s awesome! I bought 32 but I think I will need more. I have the cards here at home but went to the store from the office. They’re on my desk for a weekend project. I’m so excited to get them going!
Great thoughts, Matt! I appreciate the reminder.
