Our Core Values

We Always Overdeliver

Our clients and customers get at least 10X value on what they invest.

We take one extra step to ensure that people feel AMAZING in their interactions with us.

This is more than a strategy for customer retention or loyalty. It’s the driving force behind everything we do.

We are Constantly Learning

We are always learning from others.

We learn from ourselves.

We experiment, which means we fail, which means we learn.

We Allow Others to Surprise Us

We delegate freely, focus on our unique abilities and allow others to fill in the gaps.

We expect our teammates to overachieve and surprise us with their skills and results.

As a result, we are freed up to focus on our own unique abilities and skills.

We Don’t Work with Jerks

We give grace to the hurting and confused, but have zero tolerance for jerks or abusive customers.

We will fire a customer or client if needed.

As much as reasonably possible, we avoid working with negative people on the front end.

We Ruthlessly Protect our Downtime

We’re purposeful about giving our team the rest and rejuvenation they need.

This allows them to care for their health, their minds, and their most important relationships, so they can do their best work.

Outside of a few days per year, we do not work on nights or weekends unless we choose to.

We are the Guide, Not the Hero

Our audience is the hero and we are their guide.

Our goal is to help them achieve their goals; to build the business and lifestyle of their dreams and live out their mission.

Every customer, every affiliate, and every follower matters and is served at the highest level.

We do the Things that Scare Us

We take on exciting new projects that challenge our current skill level or resources, without sacrificing our other values.

We apply the 80/20 rule whenever possible and live by the motto, “Done is Better Than Perfect.”

We believe that a wrong decision is better than no decision.

Why You Should Join Our Team

Do Work That Matters

We truly believe that we are changing the world with our message, our products, our services, and our work.

While that might sound cliché, it’s not.

We’ve seen it time and time again in our business…our students go on to impact thousands, our clients create lasting legacies, and our team members get to do work that matters to them and to others.

Flexible Work Schedule

Outside of roughly 30-40 days per year for most positions, we don’t care when you work, as long as the job gets done.

If you want to work early mornings, take the middle of the day off, and work more at night, have at it. If you want to take Friday off and work Saturday, go for it.

There are exceptions to this rule for one to two week periods of time throughout the year (major product launches for example), but for the most part, our team has extreme flexibility in their schedule.

Great Teammates

There’s a reason why our team members stay…they love working with their teammates.

While we certainly want (and have) a team of all-star players, we, first and foremost, want a team full of cultural fits who are great teammates.

We love each other, respect one another, and do whatever we can for our teammates.

Results-Focused Work

We focus on results, not time at the computer or meetings.

Do we have meetings? Of course. How long are they? As long as they need to be and not one moment longer.

The average team member spends less than two hours per week in meetings and at least 90% of his work time actually getting things done.

Access to World-Class Training

As a team member at Matt McWilliams Consulting, Inc. you get access to some of the best training in the world from our clients and others.
We believe strongly in helping every team member to grow personally and professionally, so we provide team trainings from some of the best-known, most-respected leaders in the world in the fields of personal growth, productivity, marketing, sales, and leadership.

Team members have access to these individually and as a part of group team trainings.
