Man, that was always one of the things that held me back. I tried looking at it the way which you’ve described it here in the video, but I just kept running into the opposite advice.
I’d much rather be prepared with something to promote that I can believe in, rather than show up with a handful of dreams alone.

If you have people on your list, they are waiting for you to promote to them something. They are not just only on your list they are on lots of lists.
If you don’t offer/sell them something someone else will.
