I still remember the first time I heard the term “affiliate.” I’d just started working with a friend at a startup. We had virtually no money and what little we had we’d just blown on banner ads (this was 2005). The idea of affiliates was mesmerizing.

where can you find affiliates?

My friend and I spent the next hour talking about how amazing this idea was. It was no-risk (you only pay if you make a sale) and high-reward.

We went on and on about how we could make affiliates a part of our business. We marveled at the endless possibilities.

Once the conversation died down, we sat in silence for what seemed like an hour (it was more like 15 seconds) before my friend finally broke the silence:

“How do we find these affiliates?” he asked.

His question sucked the air out of the room because we had no idea how to answer that question.

You probably know this feeling all too well. You know the power of affiliates. You know what they can do for your business, but you don’t know where to find them.

10+ Years Experience

What began that day was a decade-plus journey of learning where to find affiliates, how to recruit them, and how to leverage those relationships into big bucks.

Less than three years after that meeting, I was running a $10.8 Million affiliate program for that company. Five years later, I was running a $30+ Million affiliate program for a publicly-traded company. In less than three years, we more than doubled the size of the program.

Today, I am blessed to work with some of the top online entrepreneurs such as Jeff Goins, Nick Stephenson, Ray Edwards and more running their course and book launches. A huge part of that is recruiting top affiliates.
