The Thank You Revolution continues to spread.
I recently had the opportunity to hang out with Joshua Rivers on his new podcast, Quality Life Made Simple, and talk about the Thank You Revolution. Listen here:
After listening, what actions can you take?
- If you have not read the book, Two Powerful Words: Revolutionize Your Work, Your Relationships, and Your Life with the Power of Gratitude!, get it now.
- If you have not joined the Thank You Revolution, do so now.
- Tell two people about the Revolution today.
- Write a thank you note to someone this week from whom you expect nothing in return. Thank a volunteer at a local homeless shelter. Thank a member of the military or a teacher at a school that your child does not attend. Find someone that most likely can do nothing for you and let them know they are appreciated.
I have a big announcement coming on the Thank You Revolution in the next 4-6 weeks, so stay tuned for that.
Which of the four actions above are you taking today?
I enjoyed the podcast. Thanks for the mention, and congrats on continued spread of the revolution. Happy TY Thursday!!!
Ok Jon, let’s end this now. How do you pronounce your last name? I think I’ve heard Matt say it 4 different ways…
It’s pronounced: “Stolpe”
Ahhhh, thanks Josh. It’s so much clearer now 😉
Right! 🙂
I’ll see if I can help you… it’s pronounced [ Stol (LONG “O”) Pee (Long “E”) ]. It kind of rhymes with “dopey”. Does that make sense?
dopey. got it. 🙂 No, as one who’s name is ALWAYS mispronounced, I know it’s nice to have people say it right, so I wanted to make sure that I was saying it right…
Stole-Pee. OK that is kind of a fun spelling. That is how it is pronounced though.
4-6 WEEKS??? who can wait that long for a “big announcement”?
The podcase rocked. Really enjoyed it.
I’m definitely writing a few thank you notes today…already wrote three for the week, but its Thurs, so I’ll get a couple more done today!
I love your recommendation about finding someone who can likelydo nothing for you. It’s the truest form of a gift…giving something to someone that they have no way of repaying–and it feels great!
HAHA!
Make it 3 1/2 weeks then 🙂
Thanks for the interview, Matt! I definitely enjoyed it. Thanks also for sharing it!
Thanks again Josh!
